NCsoft released a second video for Blade&Soul at G-Star. The video contains the interview with the game’s producer and art director. Took me a while to find the correct vid with English subs, but here it is.
I’m really glad the people behind B&S are working hard to make the game unique. The current MMORPGs are all the same nowadays. I hate the simple ”click” and “endless attack” our characters ALWAYS do in-game which is the reason I quit playing MMORPGS. Hopefully, B&S (along with other upcoming titles such as TERA, C9, etc) will offer something different.
“High graphics and low specs.” That’s what I like the most about Korean MMOs. Like Granado Espada and S4 League, your PC can be a few years old yet you can still play the games fine. Apparently, the longer AION is successful, the more time the Bloodlust team will have to continue developing B&S. In that case, I hope NCsoft’s other MMORPG continues to do well because I can wait a few months for a better B&S game. ; )
Finally, I’m impressed. Though I’ve known who Kim Hyungtae was for several years (make that a long time ago), I always thought Kim was simply an illustrator who did character designs for games. Turns out he had other skills including 3D modeling. Now he’s even an “Art Director.” Call me a new fan. : D
